My annual visit to my dear cousin in Sydney happens on the last weekend of the trip. This year, I visited his families(his two kids, his wife and his parents). Spending an entire weekend with a 2 year old and a 4 year old Chinese kids is not something relaxing. Observing 4 adults stressed out with two kids is sort of alarming to me. The weekend experience makes me think what a serious life-time commitment raising kids involves.
Until I hopped on the plane on Sunday, I didn't realize how drained out I was and how much I look forward to returning to my Sunny California home where no hey fever bothers me.
