A little sensation in back town

Last evening in Dahab, I bumped into Fransoir again. He should have left Dahab four days ago. I was on my way to Blue Beach Club and he was thinking about shopping in a local market. We headed out to the back town- a real Egyptian town! There wasn't much going on in the back town, nor any real markets there. We ended up with a "shopping square" where there are a couple of small and dark grocery stores selling stinky cheese in 40 C degree room temperature with very limit choices of food. I suspect the lack of self-serve food shopping choices might have something to do with the overall tourism development strategy if they have one-if we all get our own food to cook in, who would like to pay for the meal served in the water front restaurarnt which is way over average Egyptian prices?
Besides a couple of dull food stores, the square serves as recreational activity center where several cluster of Egyptian men in their sloppy white robes were hanging out watching a small TV hanging on a wall of one side of the square or playing some cards. While I was waiting for Fransoir outside of the store, all the men stopped what they were doing and cast their eyes on me. They might have found a bit spice to their "nothing going on" life by staring at me-something looking different. At one moment, I heard a roaring motorcycle pulling in the square. As I looked back, a robust blond stud in a tight sexy jeans and vest got off his bike and marched in a store leaving a gorgeous blond bombshell in the back seat. A few minutes later, the biker got back on this bike and the bike and two blonds soon roared away in the dust leaving all the Egyptian men stunned.
