From August 7th to August 24th, I travelled to Netherlands for work. This was my very first trip to Europe. As it's a business trip, I spent most of time at work. My boss Kent and I explored surrounding areas over weekends. The town we stayed is called " Delft" - a historic and school town with bridges, canals and cobbled streets. We went to Armsterdam, Brudge (in Belgium), nearby beach towns on weekend. It's a good trip!
The highlights of the trip are: people, the Europen life style, the canals, Armsterdam's canals and bridges, stress of work, the rainy and chilly weather, Brudge's streets, French lunch, Dutch baby-pancake, red light district of Armsterdam, the bike ride at Delft, Delft's morning walk, the espresso, the beach town, conversations.
All in all, people and their lives are the most interesting part of the trip. Understanding them and being part of the community are accomplishment of the trip.
Look forward to going back for more bike ride, train ride and talks!
