Second week in Sarasota FL

Our second week of golfing trip in Sarasota was a real vacation. It was one of the most luxury vacations in my travel history. We were pampered by Ritz Carlton world class service, swimming pool by the bay side and white sandy beaches. Jamie was working and I was vacationing. The typical humid and thunderstorm weather in this area was not very pleasant. Anything else was great. I even got to have the entire driving range in the world class Ritz Carlton golf course for myself for half day to hone my golfing skill.
Sarasota is a slow-paced beach. It's pretty but doesn't have the energy and charm California beach towns have. I attribute this to the weather. Siesta Key Beach is No.2 beach in US. It has enormous fine white sand and crystal water. Without shade and baking in the sun, the beach is only good for a short hangout. There was no facility on the beach but a snack bar and a couple of showers. I presume it as part of effort to preserve and protect the beach. A primitive beach is always good.
A lazy week in lazy Sarasota is soothing and pampering!
