Felucca ride on Nile

You are gonna take a Felucca ride on Nile no matter how far off the Felucca deal is. The meals on the boat are horrible, the sailing time is much shorter that promised, the weather is hot like hell and the creepy and ugly sailor will make attempts to grope you. All in all, you still need to have that experience of sailing along the Nile, spending an interesting evening by the "Bawbrau Island" and sleeping under the stars over the Nile and enjoying the finally cooled down breeze and a piece of quiet that you can only find by the Nile.
Our Felucca pulled over by "Bawbrau Island" early evening. Bawbrau Island is a small Nubian Island where some local fishermen were pulling nets back to the boat, farmers were digging on their lush green land, some were playing football on the grass, some were chasing cows, horses and donkeys to home. Added to the lovely setting is a spectacular sunset and stars studded sky. I tried not to fall sleep too soon on the deck, letting the beautiful moment lingering a bit longer. Then I heard a few Egyptian chatting in Arabic and some creatures were making some funny noises somewhere in the bush. It seems everyone is enjoying themselves in their own way. That's the first and only time I felt a harmony in the air in Egypt.
