Besides work, I drove up to Rotterdam on Monday night. Rotterdam is a large port city with a world famous industrial habor. I was unable to see the city very well driving at dark night. The little driving does give me some taste of the city though.
We were invited to a traditional Dutch luncheon party by the company I work for. The fine raw fish, cheese, meat and fresh bread are delicious! I did one more time of biking on Tuesday night around Delft and thought how much I would miss this place when I leave.
I was kindly invited to my dear Dutch friend Karin's house for dinner on Wednesday night. I truly enjoyed a great night of home made BBQ, coffee, chatting and dog walking with Karin and her families.
Hans ( our dear college and friend) took our team to a steakhouse on Thursday night for the last dinner in Delft. Great food, wine and chatting!
Friday afternoon, in the rain, Kent and I headed down to Brussels, Belgium for a weekend.
