Mt. Baden-Powell climbing up and sliding down

Another great hike! Exploratory route via the ridges to the peak of Mt. Baden-Powell( next to Mt. High) and slided down off trail. No clue where we came down. I just knew we almost caused mudslide! At some points, I felt the whole mountain is rolling down! It's very fun! I met a group of cool people and shared the great adventure with them. The moment I remember is that everyone became high, sliding and rolling in the dirt, mud and rocks and everyone started to shout. The funny thing is that we all have different accents and I absolutely had no idea what heck everyone was shouting about. There's Indian, Russian, Europen and me Chinese! Haha....
The trip leader-Paul wrote a very nice trip report. I would keep it here:

As planned, we made it to the mine to find it still open. We went in one shaft and came out another. Surprisingly, as also planned, the entire group took on THE RIDGE to Mt Baden Powell from the mine. After 26 of us hiked the ridge, a use trail to the top is quite evident. The first time I took that ridge, there were no signs of anyone having done this before. ODC has definitely left their mark there. 9 of the 26 in our group elected to take on the steep, trail less northeastern ridge off of Mt. Baden Powell while the rest took the 3.4 mile bail out trail. Those nine were Vivek, Anna, Jae, Lance, Lotus, Tom, Luis, Verdi and me. It wasn’t too bad at the beginning, but we did miss the planned ridge and ended up taking a more northerly ridge down that took us straight to the parking lot. The last part of that ridge became fairly steep and forced us to alter our course down the ravine to the left which was quite steep and eventually thick with low lying brush. What we should have done, was to have turned slightly right after we viewed the steep drop to our right and kept site of that drop off so as to catch the planned northeast ridge descent. Eight of us then went on down to Wrightwood and enjoyed conversation over a nice lunch.
