We arrived in Buenos Aires around noon time when it was raining. The bus stopped at a huge bus station. We checked in at St. Nicholas Hostel in centro city. This little hostel has a very cute roof patio. After a break, we were ready to explore the metropolitian! This is a very large Europen like city, mingling a lot of historic buildings, plazas, with commercial malls, shops, high rise office buildings and numerous cafes! It's stylish, relaxing and fun! Strolling through is the best way to explore the town.
On the first night at BA, we had a very interesting dinner at a Parrilas place ( parrilas means grill) named La Estancia. Chicken, beef, ribs, blood sausages, beef fats and other stuffs were cooked in one grill. What an interesting variety! Taste wise, good but can be more tender. My Swiss picky friend only picked chicken. I ended up swallowing down three different types of meat and 5 types of organs from three types of animals.
When we got back, some travellers were hanging out at the roof patio of the hostel. I joined them for some interesting talks. What an interesting town!
